Anti-Social Behaviour Statement

At the last 2 Community Council Meetings, the Community Council has been made aware of Anti-Social Behaviour in the Village.

The issue has been discussed at length and it has come to the conclusion that this is not a matter for the Tarbolton Community Council or South Ayrshire Council and that this is in fact a Police matter.

We ask that to protect anonymity that when you discover anti-social behaviour in or around the village that you attempt to collect evidence (Photos etc.) and we have been strongly advised that under no circumstances should you post these on social media, instead please forward them along with any other details (Names, Addresses etc of people committing offence) to PC Liz Hunter who can by contactable by emailing elizabeth.hunter@scotland.police.uk or phoning 101 for police non-emergencies.
Alternatively, to protect your identity you can report it via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information.

We understand that it is frustrating for the victims that nothing can happen immediately but in order for something to happen a case needs to be built against the people committing the offence.

The Community Council would like to reiterate that we find this behaviour completely unacceptable, and it will not be tolerated.

Warning

In an emergency where yourself or someone else is in danger then call 999 immediately

We hope this has clarified the matter to everyone and the Community Council is always here for you
