Christmas is a special time for us all, a time to spend with family and friends, reflect on a year passed and plan for the New Year ahead. However it can also be a poignant time for those who have lost someone close.
As we approach Christmas we acknowledge that things have been difficult this year. The cost of living crisis, high energy bills, and unrest in the country is making life difficult for lots of people at the moment.
However, this year again, it is heart-warming to see the great community spirit, which ensures that, as a village, we always pull through. Also, the community organisations in the village who work tirelessly all year to ensure that Tarbolton continues to thrive.
So let us take on board the Christmas message of hope. As the new year approaches, our wishes should be that things get better.
